The 3M™ SecureFit™ Safety Helmet X5000 provides comfort and security for workers in a variety of situations because it features climbing helmet-inspired design that meets occupational safety requirements, works with a variety of 3M faceshields, earmuffs and other accessories, and the suspension incorporates exclusive 3M patented Pressure Diffusion technology.

The 3M™ SecureFit™ Safety Helmet X5000 meets ANSI Z89.1 and is tested to various of the impact and penetration requirements of the European EN12492 Mountaineering Helmet Standard for industrial climbing applications*, and is designed to provide head protection from small falling objects.

• It also comes with a UVicator™ sensor that changes color as the hard hat is exposed to ultra violet (UV) light. The hard hat should be replaced when the sensor changes from red to white, because the sun’s UV rays can cause a hard hat shell to become brittle and compromise its ability to protect the wearer.
• Not only is this helmet equipped with accessory slots and clips that can work with variety of 3M accessories and other 3M PPE products, but it comes in eight colors and is available with 3M™ Scotchlite reflective material for increased visibility under low light conditions.
